The Playwright Centre StageIn collaboration with Dublin Theatre Festival, Stewart Parker Trust will host a free two-day event exploring the professional landscape of playwriting in Ireland today. Curated by Dr. Tanya Dean, the event will comprise talks, masterclasses, workshops and panel discussions, featuring Marina Carr, Nancy Harris, Deirdre Kinahan, Ursula Rani Sarma and Caitriona McLaughlin (amongst others). This event is designed for emerging and established playwrights. Spaces are limited and by application only.

How do I apply?
The application window is from August 4th -31st 2018, please fill in the form below with the following information:
• A brief summary of your writing to date (Max 200 words)
• A comment as to why you would like to participate in the programme (Max 200 words)
Who can apply?
The Playwright Centre Stage is for emerging and established playwrights based in ireland. The minimum requirement is that you have had one full length play professionally produced.
How will writers be selected?
A panel comprising playwrights / theatre makers / SPT Advisory Committee will read all entries and select the participants.
Places will be offered the week of 10th September, 2018
