A Boy Called Nedd by Emily Gillmor Murphy
Emily Gillmor Murphy is an Irish writer based in Wicklow, Ireland. She was born in 1990, in County Dublin Ireland. She went on to study English and History in UCD and Playwriting MFA in the Lir Academy. Emily’s novels ‘You and I’, published on June 12th 2012, and ‘One Chance’, published 5th June 2014, have been highly critically acclaimed and published in Ireland, UK and Germany. ‘A Boy called Nedd’ is Emily’s first full-length play. It was read as part of Druid Debut, Galway international Arts Festival, in 2014, overseen and directed by Garry Hynes, Thomas Conway and Rosemary McKenna. It went on then to be produced with Bitter Like a Lemon Theatre Company and Theatre Upstairs, directed by Karl Shiels.

Charolais by Noni Stapleton
Noni is an Irish playwright and actor. Her play Charolais won the Little Gem Award (Tiger Dublin Fringe), Best Monologue Bouquet (Ed Fringe). It was shortlisted by The Writers Guild of Ireland for best theatre script 2014 and selected as a finalist for The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize 2015-2016. Charolais won a PPI bronze for Best Drama in Irish Radio Broadcasting and was nominated for the Prix Europa. Previous plays include One For Sorrow and Two For A Girl, (dir/dramaturg Maureen White). Two For A Girl is published by Stinging Fly Press in an anthology of new Irish writing called ‘Freshly Brewed’. A staged reading of Two For A Girl was produced by The Cell Theatre New York in 2013. Noni trained as an actor at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. Recent acting roles include Penny Dreadful, Vikings (History Channel), Ripper Street (BBC), Quirke (BBC). THEATRE highlights include Lizzy Lavelle and the Vanishing of Emlyclough (Jo Mangan), The Laramie Project (Paul Brennan), What The Dead Want (Jimmy Fay), Massacre @ Paris (Jimmy Fay), Little Victories (Veronica Coburn). Her work in the Irish Language includes, An Triail (Bairbre Ni Chaoimh) and Antigone (Splodar).

Stephen is from Tallaght in Dublin. As an Actor he has performed in theatres throughout Ireland and the U.K. Notable theatre credits include: DruidMurphy: Plays by Tom Murphy (Conversations on a Homecoming and A Whistle in the Dark), Stones in his Pockets, Alone it Stands, Dubliners, This Lime Tree Bower and the leading role of ‘Keano’ in the hit Comedy Musical I, Keano. Stephen’s Film and television credits include: Between the Canals, King of the Travellers, Stalker, Scratch, Ripper Street, Amber, Damo & Ivor, Pheasant Island Love/Hate, Red Rock and The Bloody Irish. Stephen has numerous Radio credits. Most recently he played the part of Christy Mahon in a new musical adaptation of The Playboy of the Western World for RTE Drama on One. Stephen has a M.A in Creative Writing from UCD. His play A Certain Romance was part of Druid Debut at The Galway Arts Festival in 2008.

His first two plays A Dangerman and Some Baffling Monster were produced in Dublin Fringe 2012 and 2013. His play Newcastlewest was produced by Pan Pan Theatre, Dublin Theatre Festival 2015. He is currently working on two plays for 2016, He is an associate artist with Pan Pan Theatre and a participant in ITI Six in the Attic.
